Abstract

CellMaster is a collaborative LLM-driven framework for cell type annotation in single-cell RNA-seq analysis. Building on omics-native reasoning, CellMaster orchestrates multiple specialized agents that exchange evidence — marker genes, expression profiles, and curated knowledge — to converge on transparent, auditable annotations. The system reduces hallucinations in heterogeneous tissues and improves accuracy on hard-to-annotate cell populations, yielding interpretable rationales alongside predictions.
